Assembly
Joining ArkuRing™ Sections
Each section of ArkuRing™ features a return fold on both ends for secure, hidden joining.
To Connect:
1. Align Return Folds
Position the sections so the return tabs sit flush and evenly aligned.
2. Clamp Securely
Use wide-brim vice grips to hold the sections firmly together for a stable connection.
3. Drill Pilot Holes
Using the supplied #30 drill bit, drill through both folded tabs to create rivet holes.
4. Install Rivets
Load the rivet gun with the supplied rivets, insert into each hole, and fasten until the rivet pops. Continue for all holes along the seam.
Rivet Guide
100–300mm high rings:
• One rivet at the top and one at the bottom of the seam.
Over 300mm high rings:
• In addition to top and bottom, add horizontal rivets approx. every 100mm along the seam.
What’s Included:
• Rivets
• #30 Drill Bit
Optional Add-On:
• Rivet Gun (available in the ArkuRing™ Assembly Kit)
Do I need special tools to install ArkuEdge?
No specialist tools required — most of what you need is probably already in your shed or ute. Here’s what we recommend for a smooth, professional install:
- Drill - Used for pre-drilling holes for rivets.
- #11 Drill Bit
- Wide-Brimmed Vice Grip – Helps hold components steady while fixing
- Spade, Pick Axe, or Hand Mattock – Loosen compacted soil before installation so the edging beds in securely. Well-prepped ground also promotes better plant health around the borders.
- Safety Gear – Gloves, protective eyewear, and any PPE suited to the tools you're using are strongly advised.
